A loose adaptation of Sophocles’ Iphigenia at Aulis in which Iphigenia is a 13-year old whose sister has just signed up for the Iraqi war; Jessica Lynch stands in for Hercules; and Agamemnon is a Greek dogcatcher involved in an epistolary romance with Clytemnestra, a West Virginian librarian, presently tussling with the Patriot Act.
